American Red Cross CNA Certification Exam
The American Red Cross administers the Nurse Aid Competency Exam for the state of Hawaii. HT&CC, Inc. Honolulu and Maui branches are both state approved testing sites for the American Red Cross. Our test sites are utilized for HT&CC, Inc. graduates only.
The examination consists of two parts, the Skills Test and the Written Test. The entire exam can be completed in one day and takes approximately 5 1/2 hours. The participant must successfully pass the Skills Test before taking the Written Test. The applicant is notified of the test results on the same day, and upon passing will receive the State of Hawaii Certified Nurse Assistant card in the mail within 10 working days.
Note: After successful completion of our CNA program we will evaluate your performance to help further prepare you for the ARC Nurse Aid Competency Exam. Once you are ready you may sign up for the examination with one of our HT&CC, Inc. representatives. There are typically three different test dates a month with a limit of 12 seats per exam date.
